I love the beautiful sunrise and sunset colours of the panoramic mountain and lake view from our clifftop house. In 2003 I started to paint watercolours as a hobby, and added acrylic, pastel and pencil techniques. Although I took a few courses, I am mainly self-taught. I have been a member of an artist's association and I exhibit my works from time to time.
As well as my original paintings, I sell reproductions and greetings cards, and give private lessons in painting.
